Hi, I'm Brad Williams πŸ‘‹
problem solver, innovative thinker & bridge-builder co-creating solutions that make people say "why didn't we think of that before?"

☺️ I'm a proud occupational therapist who is passionate about the perspectives, insights and philosophy that occupational therapy can bring to the world beyond the one-to-one setting.

πŸ’‘ I'm the biggest cheerleader of designing better ways for people and teams to have the impact they seek to have - especially when conventional approaches aren't cutting it.

πŸ” I've spent years diving deep into complex challenges, connecting seemingly unrelated ideas, and crafting solutions that make people say "why didn't we think of that before?" When I set my mind on a challenge or idea, I go both deep and wide in search of solutions that work. I love helping individuals and teams discover possibilities they didn't know existed.

✨ I began my career as a clinical OT, and ever since, I've been exploring how to unlock human potential through strategic thinking and innovative design. My strengths centre around understanding complex problems, connecting and collaborating across different perspectives, and making changes that move organisations toward better outcomes around key metrics and culture.

πŸš€ Today, I'm the Founder of The Becoming Collective, supporting 70+ occupational therapists nationwide (and beyond), Lead OT at Connected Self, and creator of an occupational therapy in nature offering that changed how children access meaningful therapeutic experiences.

πŸ“ˆ I'm passionate about pattern recognition, asking questions that shift perspective, and building systems that actually work for the humans using them. I've always been drawn to a portfolio approachβ€”one that weaves together meaningful projects and helps me connect the dots between ideas, people, and purpose.

πŸ”₯ Currently working on:

  • Growing The Becoming Collective community and ecosystem
  • Leading allied health team at Connected Self
  • Redesigning student placement project at University of South Australia

🎯 Currently open to:

  • Retention challenges in allied health organisations
  • Strategic projects around achieving metrics meaningfully
  • Innovation and systems design challenges that matter
  • Opportunities where change is needed or new ideas are emerging - collaborating to co-design and implement innovations
  • Strategic challenges that require fresh perspective - helping teams see possibilities they didn't know existed
  • Service innovation projects - identifying gaps and creating new approaches
  • Culture and effectiveness improvements - supporting teams and systems to perform at their best

πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ When I'm not working, you'll find me exploring nature, having deep conversations over coffee, reading widely, playing board games, hanging with family or trying to kick a round ball into a rectangle goal or watching others do so (aka soccer)

πŸ“¨ I'd love to connect! Click here and send me an email.
